Our Process

Our German Shepherd puppies come from pedigree parents with certified hip and elbow scores and are bred for excellent health, intelligence, and stable temperaments. Raised by an experienced Australian breeder with over 30 years of expertise, they are well-socialised, confident, and make exceptional family companions. To prioritise each puppy’s welfare, we only import German Shepherd puppies after they have been reserved by a committed family. This ensures every puppy transitions directly into a loving home rather than spending time in a retail environment. We currently have four male German Shepherd puppies available from an exceptional litter, sired by champion bloodlines known for outstanding temperament, health, and conformation. If you’re interested, we’d be happy to share more about the puppies, their lineage, health testing, and guide you through the reservation process.

Please note: German Shepherds are subject to specific ownership and licensing regulations in Singapore. We’ll guide you through these requirements before arranging your puppy’s import.

We had such a wonderful experience getting our puppy from Woof Loof — all thanks to Shyne! From the moment we met her, it was clear how passionate she is about what she does. She works only with ethical, responsible breeders and really takes the time to get to know them, making sure the puppies are well cared for and matched with the right families.

What drew us to this shop in the first place were the great reviews (which we now totally agree with!). We made an appointment and visited the shop — it was clean, spacious, and gave us plenty of time and room to interact with the pups. That’s when we met our little mini Aussie Shepherd and brought him home!

Shyne also shared so much about the process behind the scenes — everything from the puppy’s early development to their DNA-tested parents to ensure they’re healthy and free of genetic issues. We were so impressed with the level of care and planning involved. Our pup was already pee tray–trained when we brought him home, which was such a bonus!

Big shoutout to Shyne and her partner for their genuine love for the animals, their thoughtful follow-ups, and all the effort they put into making this such a smooth journey. Highly recommend them if you're thinking of adding a furkid to your family! 🐶

After losing my first dog due to IMT, it took me a while of researching to find a good, ethical and reputable breeder that was upfront about their practices and where they got their pups from.

Woof Loof fit all that and more. We now are a happy family with Bruno 🥰

What Our Families Say

As first time dog owners, our family really appreciated how Woof Loof provided us with so much assurance and support throughout the whole process. Shyne assured us that her puppies are ethically bred and come to us happy and healthy. Indeed, we found the puppies at Woof Loof to be friendly, cute and full of life! We fell in love with a mini aussie, Neville, cutely named after a Harry Potter character. We took Neville home and kept his name!

Their method is unconventional – they almost treat you and their puppies as family, being very careful about matching each dog with the right home. They do thorough health checks and early stimulation with the puppies, which we feel has really made a difference in our mini Aussie Shepherd puppy — he’s happy, super friendly with people, and totally comfortable being handled (no problems with the vet, or grooming)

Benjamin

The quality of a professionally and ethically bred puppy speaks for itself. As an experienced dog owner who has both adopted and bought puppies in the past, i can say that Ruby truly has the best temperament as a puppy I’ve experienced so far. We are very grateful to Woof Loof for helping us find our Ruby!

Frequently Asked Questions About German Shepherds

What regulations apply to owning a German Shepherd in Singapore?

German Shepherds are classified as a scheduled breed under Singapore’s Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS). Owners must comply with specific regulations, including:

  • The dog must be licensed with AVS.
  • The dog must be microchipped.
  • It must be leashed in public at all times.
  • A muzzle may be required in certain public situations.
  • Owners are responsible for ensuring the dog is properly trained, controlled, and does not pose a danger to others.

Before bringing home a German Shepherd, always check the latest AVS guidelines and ensure your property allows large breeds.

Adult German Shepherds typically weigh 22–40 kg, with males generally larger than females. They usually stand between 55–65 cm at the shoulder. They are considered a large working breed and require sufficient space, daily exercise, and mental stimulation.

Our German Shepherd puppies come from carefully selected ethical breeders in Australia who prioritise health, temperament, and responsible breeding practices. Parent dogs undergo DNA health testing, and puppies are raised in family homes with early socialisation rather than commercial breeding facilities.

Simply contact Woof Loof to discuss your family’s lifestyle and preferences. We’ll match you with a suitable upcoming litter from our trusted Australian breeders. Once reserved, you’ll receive regular puppy updates, veterinary records, health documentation, and guidance throughout the import process until your puppy arrives safely in Singapore.

Yes. Our puppies are raised in home environments where they receive daily human interaction, exposure to household sounds, gentle handling, and age-appropriate socialisation. This helps them develop into confident, well-adjusted companions and provides a smoother transition into their new homes.

German Shepherds are an active working breed that typically requires 1.5 to 2 hours of exercise each day. This should include walks, playtime, mental enrichment, and structured training. Regular activity helps prevent boredom and supports both physical and mental health.

Yes, especially when introduced and socialised from a young age. Puppies raised around other dogs and household pets are generally more adaptable and accepting. Proper introductions and ongoing training help encourage positive relationships.
